Smoothie King Dude Perfect Smoothie Recipe

My little champ is a big fan of Dude Perfect. He loves watching their videos on YouTube. This Sunday weekend, we went out on a short road trip and decided to stop by Smoothie King because we love Smoothie King’s Smoothies. Suddenly, I noticed that Smoothie King has a new Smoothie “Dude Perfect Smoothie”.

Guess what! My champ was so excited to try it out so we got one for him (price was $9 each). Usually, he doesn’t like smoothies but this one was so good that he rated it 10/10. I decided to make the smoothie at home for him. So did I and he told me “mama! this one tastes exactly like the smoothie”. He loved it!

After I got that amazing review from my little champ, I decided to share the Dude Perfect Smoothie King Recipe with you guys. It’s affordable and you can make it at home using only a few ingredients. So, let’s jump into the recipe.

What Is The Dude Perfect Smoothie & What’s In It?

The Smoothie King Dude Perfect Smoothie is a limited-edition collaboration between the popular smoothie chain Smoothie King and the renowned entertainment group Dude Perfect. This smoothie features a unique blend of nutrient-dense ingredients, including pineapple, banana, kiwi apple juice, protein, vanilla frozen yogurt, turbinado sugar, and the superfood blue spirulina.

The Dude Perfect Smoothie is designed to deliver a delicious and nutritious treat that appeals to both kids and adults. Smoothie King and Dude Perfect came together to create a smoothie that combines the fun and excitement of the Dude Perfect brand with the health-focused approach of Smoothie King.

Is the Dude Perfect Smoothie Good?

The Dude Perfect Smoothie is not just good; it’s amazing. With a combination of sweet and tangy flavors, it provides a delightful taste while being packed with nutrients. I tried this smoothie when it was first released and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this smoothie. The first thing that hits you is the banana flavor, followed by the vanilla frozen yogurt. The pineapple is there too, although it’s a bit subtle.

If you don’t try yourself, then I can’t really explain how good this smoothie is…

How To Make The Dude Perfect Smoothie

To make the Smoothie King Dude Perfect Smoothie at home, you’ll need the following ingredients:

Ingredients

  • Pineapple Chunks (2 cups, fresh or frozen): Pineapple is rich in vitamins, enzymes, and antioxidants. It adds a tropical sweetness and a burst of vitamin C to the smoothie.
  • Vanilla Frozen Yogurt (1 cup): This adds a creamy texture and a hint of vanilla flavor while providing calcium and probiotics for gut health.
  • 1 Medium Banana: Bananas are a great source of potassium and fiber. They also add natural sweetness and creaminess to the smoothie.
  • Kiwi Apple Juice Blend (1 cup): This juice blend offers a refreshing and tangy flavor, along with a good dose of vitamins A and C.
  • Vanilla Protein Powder (1-3 scoops): Depending on your protein needs, add one to three scoops. This helps in muscle recovery and keeps you full for longer.
  • Turbinado Sugar (2 tablespoons): This minimally processed sugar adds a touch of sweetness without the processed feel of white sugar.
  • Blue Spirulina (1/2 teaspoon): Known for its powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, blue spirulina also gives the smoothie its vibrant color. You can find it in health food stores or online.
  • Ice (1 cup): To give the smoothie a frosty and refreshing texture.

Topping (Optional)

  • fresh fruit, nuts, or a sprinkle of granola

Blend The smoothie

Step 02: Add Topping and Serve

After the smoothie is done, Pour the smoothie in a smoothie glass. You can add fruit toppings like banana slices, berries or anything you want and enjoy the refreshing smoothie.

Special Notes

  • If you don’t have access to blue spirulina, you can omit it or substitute it with another superfood powder, such as matcha or wheatgrass.
  • Adjust the amount of protein powder and turbinado sugar to your personal taste preferences.
  • If you prefer a thicker smoothie, reduce the amount of juice or add more frozen yogurt. For a thinner consistency, add more juice but dont add water.

Smoothie Variations

  • Swap out the pineapple for mango or papaya for a tropical twist.
  • Use plain Greek yogurt instead of vanilla frozen yogurt for a tangier flavor.
  • Add a handful of spinach or kale for an extra nutrient boost.
  • Top the smoothie with fresh fruit, nuts, or a sprinkle of granola.

Dishes to Enjoy with the Smoothie

I have already mentioned in other smoothie king recipes what you can enjoy with your smoothie to make it a complete meal. Here are some of the options for you:

  • Avocado toast or a whole-grain bagel for a balanced breakfast.
  • A small salad or a grilled chicken sandwich for a healthy lunch.
  • Protein-rich foods like grilled salmon or roasted chickpeas for a post-workout recovery meal.

Frequently Asked Questions
