Hi all, and welcome to Simply Good Cooking.  My name is Maggie Lesoing, a professional cook living on a small island in NW Washington state. Making good food is one of my favorite things to do, especially when I can simplify the process and bring delicious, nourishing food to the table without too much fuss.  My intent in cooking is to make healthy, nutritious food that sustains healthy, happy bodies, and to do it as easily and simply as possible.  Always use healthy, wholesome ingredients, “real” food ingredients like butter, eggs and cheese, fresh fruits and vegetables, organic or grass-fed meats, nothing artificial or processed, and the result is….. yummy!  I am excited to share my recipes with you!
